Water is Life
A True Story Told By Pool, Guardian of Water
It was dark. I had no idea where I was or what I was doing there. All I remembered at that point in time was water, lots and lots of water. After awhile I knew why I was there. I was looking for the Orb of Flowing Aura, so I could complete my training to become a Flowing Aura master, also known as the Guardian of Water. I jerked my head sideways as I heard a noise. It sounded like rock cracking and as I listened it got closer until it stopped.
"Hello? Anyone there?" I called into the pitch black darkness of the cave. As I dared to walk forward, I was suddenly pinned by a shadow-like creature with crimson red eyes that glowed like lights.
"Don't move my friend... or else." It said in a hushed and aged voice.
I obeyed, but I now know I shouldn't have. After I was released from the creature's grasp it followed me. Around and around the cave I went looking for the orb I so desperately needed. When I found it, I saw that the shadow-like creature wanted it too. I grabbed it and bolted into the blackness, blindly dodging rocks and boulders until I ended up at a cliff face. The shadow creature had blocked the cave entrance back in, so I had no escape.
"Now, now," It said. "Give me that orb there and i'll spare you."
I hissed back at it loudly. I had no intentions of giving the orb to this evil sounding creature.
"Never," I said. "I rather die.
It inced closer, pushing me closer and closer to the cliff edge.
I knew my options at that moment. I had the choice of letting the creature have the orb and most likely getting killed, or jumping off the cliff with the orb into the water below. I jumped. It felt like ages before I hit the water, sinking to the bottom, unconscious.
I opened my eyes surprised to be alive still. At first I thought I was on land, because I was breathing. It had turned out the orb I had been carrying triggered my aura abilities, giving me life under the water. I walked under the water until I had made it to shore. I knew then, I could trust water forever, with my life.
